Solstice Celebration
Join us at the Garden on the shortest day of the year for this magical, family-friendly gathering to celebrate the winter solstice.
Together we will mark the seasonal shift from fall to winter, a time of rest, for us, the plants and the animals, and to celebrate the return of the sun’s light, which brings ever-brighter days and offers us new beginnings.
This year’s lantern procession will be along a new route at the Garden, and will end with music by the fire on our back terrace.
We encourage families to dress warmly, wear boots, and bring a homemade lantern (LED or battery-operated lights only, no flame).
Thank you for the support of RBC Sechelt for helping to make this community event possible!
